The Prague Guardians continue to build a strong foundation by adding experienced hockey minds, welcoming Shawn Daze to the organization in a scouting role.

A former ACHA coach with deep ties to the North American hockey landscape, Daze brings a proven eye for identifying talent and understanding player development at the collegiate level.

In his role with the Guardians, Daze will:

Scout and evaluate ACHA, junior, and NCAA-level players

Identify student-athletes who fit the Guardians’ competitive and academic model

Assist in building a roster focused on high character, skill, and long-term development

Daze’s coaching experience in the ACHA gives him a unique perspective on players looking to elevate their careers while pursuing higher education—making him a perfect fit for the Guardians’ mission.
